Server migration

The server migra­tion is com­plete — if any­thing is miss­ing, it is gone for good (unfortunately).

I will sort out the theme as soon as I can.

Unexpected downtime

My apo­lo­gies for the unex­pec­ted down­time — the server had a hard­ware fail­ure. Fortunately, the guys at VPSSpeed (where I’m hos­ted) have man­aged to recover the machine and we are back in action.

Fleet Merge — Long live the Phoenix!

Due to a con­flict in choice of name, we have merged with The Phoenix Fleet Steam Community — please wel­come them with open arms, and con­grat­u­late Sqwirtzilla on a job well done.

Also note that there is a third fleet attempt­ing to use the Phoenix Fleet name, who are less ami­able — if you are in head­start, can you please volun­teer to cre­ate the fleet as it will help to keep our name safe in the face of these interlopers.

Open Beta Fleet Creation

Open beta is due soon (2010/​01/​12 — Tuesday, even –Ed.) — volun­teers are reques­ted to help set up the fleet dur­ing that time. We will need to repeat this dur­ing Headstart/​Live.

At this time, we will be ramp­ing up the recruit­ment drive. Any sug­ges­tions are gladly taken, includ­ing site design (I suck!), how to recruit without spam­ming, and so on.
